How the game runs

Match predictions close 1 minute before kickoff.

Score multipliers are locked before kickoff so players see stable scoring rules.

Tournament winner and Golden Boot picks lock when the first tournament match starts.

Finished matches are checked automatically and scored after the game is over.

You can jump straight into Predictions, Bracket, or Schedule.

Who it is for

The game is designed for friends, families, offices, supporter groups, and online communities that want a simple shared way to follow World Cup 2026. It works best when the leaderboard becomes a reason to talk about the next match.

The rules are intentionally lightweight: pick results, use a small number of jokers, and see how your calls compare with people you know.

Fairness and corrections

This is a free, for-fun prediction game built around points and leaderboards.

We try to automate schedule, scoring, and results, but outside data sources and human mistakes can still cause issues.

If something important needs correcting, we want to do it transparently instead of silently editing history.

Critical score and scoring changes are logged so we can review what happened afterwards.

In practice that means if a score, odds set, or automated result looks wrong, we would rather correct it openly and keep a log than pretend nothing happened. Mistakes can happen; hidden mistakes are the part we want to avoid.

What this is not

It is not a paid-entry contest, a payment service, or a prize platform.

It is not perfect. External data sources, result sources, and admin corrections can all fail or need attention.

It is a hobby game we want to keep transparent, understandable, and fun throughout the tournament.
