Fair play and corrections

A prediction game only works if players trust the deadlines and score updates. This page explains the principles behind locked picks, corrections, and private-league fairness.

Locked means locked

Once a match deadline passes, player picks should not be edited to gain an advantage. This protects private leagues and keeps old leaderboard movement understandable.

Corrections should be visible

Football data can be messy. If a score, status, or scoring value needs correction, the goal is to fix it clearly and preserve enough history to understand what changed.

Automation needs review paths

Automated result checks reduce manual work, but they do not replace accountability. Important updates should be logged so a surprising score change can be investigated later.

Private leagues should stay friendly

The app is designed for competition without pressure. The leaderboard is there to make matchdays more fun, not to create disputes about money, prizes, or external rewards.

How players can help

Check your picks before matchdays, especially if you are competing in a private league. It is easier to fix a missed save before kickoff than after a match has locked.

If something looks wrong after a result update, report the match and describe what looks off. A useful report includes the teams, the visible score, and the expected correction.

For league organizers, the best rule is simple: make sure everyone understands deadlines before the first match and avoid side agreements that the app cannot enforce.
