The game is designed to be easy enough for casual fans and detailed enough for groups that want a full-tournament competition. These are the main actions every player should understand before joining a league.

Match picks lock shortly before kickoff. Tournament-wide picks lock when the first tournament match starts. These deadlines keep the game fair because late team news should not rewrite already-started competitions.
Jokers are limited, so they work best on matches where you feel unusually confident or where the potential return is meaningful. A good joker can move a private-league leaderboard quickly.
The global leaderboard shows overall standing, while private leagues keep the game personal. Most players care most about the smaller group where every pick can become a conversation.
Small leagues are most fun when everybody knows the rules before the first match. Share the scoring page, agree that late picks cannot be accepted after locks, and make sure everyone has joined before the opening game.
For offices or larger groups, the best rhythm is to remind players before major matchdays rather than after matches begin. The app can only score saved picks, so participation matters as much as prediction skill.
